History
Veteran journalist Hussain Naqi made first Constitution of LPC in 1968 with the help of Senior Journalist Zia Ul Islam Ansari, Maqbol Sharif, Aftab Gillani and Rafiq Dogar.
LPC has over 2778 Council members including 200 women journalists from various media organizations and 320 Life members.
We also have 53 honorary members who are dignities of the Pakistan like former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Former Presidents Farooq Laghari & Waseem Sajjad and Former Indian Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral.
